IP Business clinics (IPB clinics)

Welcome to IPB clinics!

IP Business (IPB) clinics are informal, complementary, one-to-one meetings with IP and business experts. These 30-minute sessions will take place before and after the main HTB conference proceedings on 21-22 November 2022.

The clinics are designed to give you an opportunity to discuss – and seek advice on – general IP related issues and how these issues can impact your business. They are particularly geared towards fast-growing technology businesses, and aim to highlight how effective IP strategy and management can facilitate the extraction of value from intellectual assets in the context of business development.

Our IP and business experts (mentors) include: • patent and trade mark attorneys and patent examiners • legal professionals specialising in various aspects of legal IP transactions • IP strategy and business advisers from the private and public sectors, including licensing and technology transfer professionals, investors and scale-up experts.

If you are interested in a session, you can create a profile and book a slot with a mentor based on your needs and their expertise (e.g. licensing contracts in the biotech area).
